The folks you meet around a Caterham

The gent I bought the 2L Vaux HPC from has become a long distance friend.  We've never met.  

During the sale he replaced the timing belt and found a slight water pump leak, so replaced that too, he wanted the car to be as good as it could be...he also sent many spares like this green nose cone etc.... wonderful guy.  We'd chat for an hour about the car and other cars we'd had.

I asked him if he had any nose badges lying about and he said he'd sent them.  I get this box with the two cars and display; 4 badges and alloy wheel covers for the 16 in. rims on the car (lighter plastic in place now....and he refuses any compensation.  I have a plan for that tho.  

Steve R lives in Michigan and I in Az. I have the yellow nose and the green one I've been messing with.

I love the cars and the community has been great too.

I expect it is something fairly common you usually don't hear about. There is a stalker in SC for sale on FB that had real flames.

Not many I suspect..... I have two nose cones, the yellow one and this so decided to do something different..... the 98 HPC is a very fun 7.  I go back/forth with the noses.  They are little hot rods so......
