minimallyviable Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I'm replacing the seals and gaskets on my Type 9 and I have mixed the 3/4 blocker bars with the 5th gear blocker bars. I don't see a reference in the Ford manual or the Haynes manuals posted in the library. Does anyone have the spec/measurements on those? It looks like the length (19.6mm) and width (5.5mm) are the same but the height when viewed from the side is different. Mine measure 4.88mm and 4.16mm.
11Budlite Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I no longer have a car with a T9, but you might try reaching out to John at Quantum Mechanics. I know he has a fair amount of experience with the T9 and might be able to help: https://www.quantumechanics.com/
IamScotticus Posted Monday at 04:28 AM Posted Monday at 04:28 AM (edited) I have a T9 sitting here. Is this something that can be checked in situ? I'm not wanting to pull it apart. Put up some pictures Edited Monday at 04:29 AM by IamScotticus
minimallyviable Posted Monday at 01:56 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:56 PM Thanks for the offer but the transmission needs to be apart to measure them. I’ll post a picture later today.
minimallyviable Posted yesterday at 12:16 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:16 AM Here are a couple of pictures...
minimallyviable Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Author Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM The measurements are 5.5mm wide (picture 5) by 19.6mm long (pic 2) all are those dimensions. The height is where the difference is. One is 4.88 mm high and the other is 4.16 mm high.
