slngsht
Normally, when Frankn7 is parked due to the weather, at least I can go in the garage and fiddle with it. But now that she's hibernating in WV, awaiting offseason surgery, I can't even do that. So, to ease the pain, I bought this. http://www.provantage.com/fullsize/TDWR021.jpg Once I manage to get it to WV and installed, I can see her anytime I want, and whenever Arya is out there working on it without me, he can show me stuff, and we can have a two way conversation. :yesnod:
MHKflyer52
Hi Mazda, Now all you have to have is a mount that you can rotate from your PC so you can pan to see what is going on to the left and right of were you mount the camera unless you can mount it were it will capture the entire garage area such as up in a corner by the cealing. gjslutz
I think Mazda is gathering toys for another career. Movies where no screen writers are needed?

It was really tempting to buy a pan and tilt camera. Panasonic has a decent one. Ultimately I bought this one, because of 2 important features: It can work in low light conditions (car is in a basement garage), and allows 2 way conversation. slngsht
well, here it is... linky I don't know what'll happen if a bunch of people try to connect. It probably has a limit. So if you connect and look, please close the browser when you're done. login: guest password: rotus right now it's just sitting in my garage, so no Rotus to look at. It is pitch dark in there, so whatever you see is from the camera's infrared LEDs. There is also sound, although nothing is going on in the garage... EburgE
I feel lonelier now that I am there. Do you have mice in your garage? Can you please put a Seven sticker on the Firebird or something? I'd rather watch your garden hose drip.

EburgE
Okay, okay, okay...the Corvette. W/E  I am still watching. If I see somebody breaking into your garage, should I dial 911, or just post a reply here. (Figure the latter is faster.)

I've actually used the camera for something useful already. I was discussing a frame modification on the Rotus with my nephew over IM earlier, and just put the camera in front of the whiteboard. It helped alot to draw it out.

And who was that walking the dog down the street ???? heh, you guy are all keeping track of my garage now. Rotus is in the WV mountains... getting ready to undergo some major changes (this is what I say every winter ... and I actually follow through, sometimes more smoothly than others... ) This time around my nephew is doing most of the work.
