slngsht
This just in from Jean... Sounds like we'll have to sit tight... I've gone to my post office yesterday to try to have precision. They can't tell me more than I can look at the (poor) web site for tracking. The two parcels are existing and they are on the "road", between my home and your's. I'm affraid I can't be able to know more of that at this time. Another parcel is like your, it is the parcel for Danemark. I know the Australian parcel is arrived in Australia, but its actualy at the custon office. Parcels for UK are arrived. I will check everyday for parcel and I will let you know what is happend. I think it's just because we are in the time of Christmas and they are a lot of parcel in circulation. King regards, Jean
jeaned2
Hi all of you, I've gone to my post office yesterday to try to have precision. Like the (nice) girl said at post office, it seems when Parcel have for destination a country out of Europe, they can't have news in their informatique system between the time the parcel leave Europe and the time the parcel arrive at custom in the destination country. A fact is than is for a reason or an other, the parcel won't arrive to destination, the service I've paied make the parcel return to me (at my charge), and in this case, I'will sent it again. But I simply think, even if I've post them by 11 and 12 of december, it's just because we are in the time of Christmas and they are a lot of parcel in circulation... I will check everyday for parcel and I will let you know what is happend. King regards, Jean :flag: (@ BusaLoco : I've not answered to your MP on Sevener, I prefere to answer here, for everybody)
jeaned2
I'm terribly sorry, I've made it as quickly as I can. I have received watches to home by the 10th of december, I have made all parcels in the evening and the night between 10 and 11 (as I work all the day and I'm back to home at 8 o'clock in evening), and it's my wife Natalie (without 'h', like the American Natalie who put all parcels to post office by the 11 of december, loso because I begin my work day before the opening of the post office. Sorry, sorry, sorry, it was as quick as I can...   :banghead:
BusaLoco
Very Strange: I posted a message on the Seveners Forum addressed to JeanEd regarding our watches and (sadly) it has been expunged. hmmm :skep:

Mandurath
Christmas is a rough time to ship much of anything. You should see our loading docks, hauling freight that we normally do not, along with pullings others freight, as they do for us if our trucks cannot get to it in time. Pretty hectic, i shudder to think about what the post office has to go through this time of year.
Ian7
Just my .02 but considering the amazing efforts put in by jeaned and slngsht on behalf of the 50 or so of us, the watches being a few days or even weeks late is not going to ruin my xmas thanks you two
