Looks like the drive shaft from the aft motors to the forward propeller has to pass thru the cockpit. As in right thru the pilot. How does that work?

Looks like the drive shaft from the aft motors to the forward propeller has to pass thru the cockpit. As in right thru the pilot. How does that work?

Look at the top view, you can see the aft engine's C/L is skewed to the left and a drive shaft routes the power to the left of the pilot.

 

The forward engine has its driveshaft on the right side of the pilot.
