A beautiful day

it was in the mid 60's and traffic was surprisingly light. Gotta love it when you can drive the Seven to work in late November

Nice work. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif

I get pretty brave in taking the Seven out provided it is sunny and the roads haven't been salted. I took it in to work in Cincinnati on at least a couple of occasions when it was mid 30's when I left the house in the morning and have done some short blats in similar temps around here.

It's cold, but not too bad provided you bundle up appropriately and it is extremely exhilarating.

Tough to get the temp gauge to break 65-70 degrees though and the starter motor takes a while to forgive you. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif

Today actually seemed like the first day of "winter" here in S. Calif., cold, windy, and some rain. However, we had perfect weather for our "holiblat" the day after Thanksgiving! http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/hurray.gif

PS - That's Gert sitting on his Birkin's fender, and my Birkin just to the right. The other two are Caterhams.soareyes2006-11-27 17:40:05

Very nice! were you guys doing donuts there?

Blatter: No way officer, we understand, that might be an "Exhibition of Speed" misdemeanor ( California Vehicle Code§ 23109) and we would never even think of doing that on public roads... http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/blush5.gif ..Well, yes my foot slipped a little from the clutch leading to temporary unintentional loss of rear wheel traction. But what does that have to do with it?

After one of the wettest months in Seattle's history (we're about 1/10" away from breaking the record set in 1933) we finally have a beautiful sunny day on our hands. The only problem is that we received 5" of snow at our house last night and the current temp is in the upper 20's, so the white stuff and ice aren't going anywhere soon. (sigh).
