That is wild, cool, fantastic, incredible and a ton of other positive words. Makes me want to buy a Phaeton.

 

You can't get a new one in the US anymore. It was discontinued after they sold only 280 some odd of them in 2006, the last year they were offered here.

 

From Wikipedia:

 

In the United States market, 1,433 Phaetons were sold in 2004, but just 820 were sold in 2005, leading the company to announce that sales in the American market would end after the 2006 model year. The rare W12-engined models have depreciated significantly, and sell for a small fraction of their original cost.

 

In April 2008, Volkswagen announced plans to reintroduce the Phaeton to the United States market in 2009.

 

It didn't make it back to the USA market in 2009.

i couldnt imagine this here in the states..

But the concept is awesome...and why not?

People deserve to see their vehicles being constructed!

 

i wish i would have seen the damn wiring put into my Birkin 7.... UGH..
