Well the weather forecast today was for 2 to 4 inches of rain, with flash flood warnings. It shut down the road course at Gateway international Speedway in Madison IL, but NOT the autocross. (well not at first)

It was raining like crazy, off and on, with a river running through the autocross course. The course was set up by the St.Louis region SCCA. They only got in about 2 to 3runs when the course shut down because the timing equipment stopped working because of the water on the cables/connectors.

Only 3 sevens running, and one RCR Nemisis with a Hayabusa. here's some pics.

It was the RSR guys with the Nemisis, then Chuck Spera in the Ultralite XR7 ( really low isn't it?) then John Meyers in #17 Stalker with a LS3 Corvette V8 crate motor and a really cool wing over the center of gravity. Then Marty Carrol with his Stalker.

EVERYBODY got wet, drivers and spectators.

Yes, 2005 was wet for the Autocross. Glad you brought that up, that give me an opportunity to post a pic of my car, as I managed to get first place in Street Class Road course and autocross that year.
