I thought the Sevens were already "loaded" (with items like a driver side steering wheel for instance). I would expect many of us have some sort of heat protection for the footwell and tunnel carpeting to isolate you from the heat that soaks the panels after more than an hour of driving. Convenience items that I have personally added are a cooling fan override switch to kick on the fan earlier than it would be otherwise (nice when you get stuck in traffic when it is 90ish degrees out and don't want to watch the temp climb too high before it kicks on). Also there is now a cigarette lighter outlet hidden well under the dash for powering the camera on track days.

Since I don't have a heater, I was thinking abotu converting my heater fan switch to the cooling fan override purpose Mike.

I have a full face helmet (Schuberth motorcycle flip-up) and bought helmets for my kids and wife. I have been thinking about getting an "driver to instructor" intercom...but don't mind having to shout occassionally to be heard.

I have a dual cigarette underdash. And of course, the Jill Judd half hood. I think the helmet makes the most difference on long (sometimes rainy) drives).

I have a luggage rack - came with the car - never used, but come July, who knows?

The thing that makes it most pleasurable is my right foot http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif

We still in the planning/gathering/building stage so don't know if this counts but. PS, PB, ABS, EFI, CC, heater. With a 12" steering wheel and 13" (at least on the rear) tires I believe this list will make the 7 more pleasurable and should only add about 100 lbs.

Yes, I got big bells and you should really see my whistle http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif

Let's see what I got for touring.....

Comfy Cobra seats, roll-up soft top (sunroof), removable luggage rack, in-dash radar detector, lexan half-doors, air scoop for footwell, 12V outlet in dash for portable GPS, bullet cam on roll bar or windscreen, armored sump guard, camelback drinking water supply, beach towel (folded as armrest on the brake lever, as picnic blanket and for swimming), generous tool and spare collection.

I did remove the heater/fan as well as the windshield washer. Useless junk, this is California, after all!!
