That is a very popular event with horrific traffic. I was there 3 years ago and tried to go again this year. But the stop-and-go business started 12 miles away from the entrance and we probably would have arrived when the show was finished. So we turned around. Maybe next time and a little earlier.

My son and I were one of those that waited hours to get in.... great show but I wouldn't do that again.

 

If someone does want to go.... take Hwy58 east past the Edwards exit (and the mile of cars in the right lane) and go down to the next exit and come back from the other side (no one was coming from Boron/Barstow or Vegas). Would of saved 2 hours!
