slomove Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 .....for you guys back east. Preview of the driving season. Beautiful day this morning after heavy rain yesterday and the local LA Se7ens took to the mountains. Starting at a fresh 40s when we left it warmed up to 70-something.
yellowss7 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Yeah, Hope. We only had 8 inches of snow on Friday and the snow yesterday and today didn't amount to anything.:deadhorse: So far this winter we have set a record for the most snow in a season with 80+++ inches so far. AND Wednesday's forcast is for more. Good thing they can't really forecast out that far. :banghead: You're just baiting us again aren't you? Tom:seeya:
Hank Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I drove the Megabusa for an hour yesterday and 4 hours today. Beautiful weather! -Got the Goodyear slicks mounted to the 13x7 wheels -Installed LED turn signals in the rear -Swapped the 2" Westfield 4pt harnesses in favor of 3" G-Force 6pt variants -Bypassed the dead brake pressure switch with a microswitch behind the brake pedal -Replaced the dead microswitch for the parking brake
slomove Posted March 1, 2010 Author Posted March 1, 2010 ....You're just baiting us again aren't you? Tom:seeya: No no no no, just some heartfelt thoughts of encouragement.
yellowss7 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 I stand corrected. I checked our forcast for the week and it is indeed looking like things are warming up. After the snow forcasted for Wednesday, it looks like it will be warming up for the weekend, Saturdays high 48, Sunday's high may hit 50. :hurray: Perhaps that will finally melt all the snow that's been on the ground for the last month. Send some more of that Global Warming our way. Tom

lancylad Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Ok you lot, this is just not fair. Here I am sitting waiting for my toy to arrive from Japan and there you all are having just toooooo... much fun. March 11th ETA Vancouver. Fingers crossed.
scannon Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Gert, I lived in Newhall for 6 years prior to moving to Colorado. It certainly wasn't all Mexican then, not even close. Seemed like there were more Asians than Mexicans. There was even an excellent German restaurant and deli at that time with real German beer. I loved that place.
solder_guy Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I've had my Rotus Seven out twice this past weekend! Cool but sunny! Rob
