trough doctor
EBAY SCAM ALERT! When this car was on ebay I placed a maximum bid of $7000.00, knowing full well I had no chance of being the winning bidder as the car was listed on the toronto kijiji site for $16500. The auction came and went with bidding stoping around $11,0000 with reserve not met. Just how I thought it would end up. Two days ago I received an email which appeared to be a legitimate ebay notice stating that the seller was accepting my offer of $7000.00. I could'nt believe it. bidding for this car had ended about two weeks ago. I responded to the email by saying, I had the funds to buy the car but would like to take a look at it first(Oakville is only about 45 mins from my place). He replied by saying he would ship the car for free to my address after he received the money transfer and that I had 10 days to inspect the car and if I was'nt happy with it I could return it and get my money back. I emailed him back stating that I would need to see the car first. While waiting for his reply, I looked up the kijiji ad and noticed the name of the seller was different. I called the phone number in the ad and Jim answered. Apparently one of his friends listed the car on ebay to help him sell it. He assured me this was a scam and would not take less than $15,000 for the car. I then checked ebay for a message about this item. There was nothing. The ebay scammer had my full name, address and postal code. Maybe he assumed I was an easy target as I have only 4 transactions on ebay.

MHKflyer52
Post up some photos of your new toy when you get the time and it arrives at your location. I was looking at the link that you posted from the original owners photos and I like to see more detail of the frame work and paneling. I like the fact that the interior is skinned in aluminum from the looks of the photos in the link. Looks to be a soundly built car from the photos. acpolish
Hey Oyagi: Looks like we should talk. I also own a "Fejer 7". I'm just outside Montreal, (west) so am not far from you. There is also another F7 in Glen Robertson, ('bout 1/2 way tween Mtl. & Ott). Weather permitting I should be in Gatineau this Sunday for the "Classic Air Rally" (w/ the 7). Oyagi
Well folks, the Fejer is for sale! I have owned this car since July but something's suddenly come up and I'm ready to sell it. In the time I've had it I have changed the fenders and added stripes. Mechanically its identical and rock solid. Here are recent pics: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs314.snc4/41059_474533666223_690446223_6946163_1567030_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs305.snc4/40580_474533716223_690446223_6946164_6787772_n.jpg http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs145.ash2/40580_474533721223_690446223_6946165_605353_n.jpg PM me for details if interested. It's registered as a 1982 Toyota CDX, and will have no problems with registration in the US.

ihckb2
I'm pretty sure I visited the workshop in the early 80's. The bare chassis looked identical, as far as I could tell, to a Lotus S3 chassis, with the same rear suspension as the Lotus (large A-arm to the solid axle). They were using Japanese market Toyota TwinCams, and were selling them in Japan, at least that's what the guy told me. I was only 18 at the time, so it was out of reach, but I'm pretty sure I still have some sales literature from that visit. ---David ('90 Cat SuperSprint DeDion) Hey David Did you ever find the literature on the Fejer 7, if so I would be very interested in geting copies. thanks Glen 84 fejer7
ihckb2
I'm considering my options, incl doing nothing until the spring :toetap05: Hey Oyagi Do you still have the clamshell fenders that you took off or did they go with the new owner as I would be interested in them as spares. Also who is the new owner. thanks Glen 84 Fejer7
Oyagi
The new owner is in Montreal and doesn't speak much English, which is why I doubt he's on the forum, but his buddy Nick is here and might be able to pass the message to him. chinook
It's incredible to see so many people appreciate my grandfather's work. He spoke about his motorcycle racing and car building days when I was a kid but I never thought much of it.
