Not cheap, perhaps, but not much different than a reasonably appointed late model Caterham, and less than almost any new one, with provenance few of our cars can match. Plus, how many vintage 50's era digital data acquisition devices like the one behind the Brooklands screen are you likely to run into? :D

Is it just me or are those headlight turned sideways? It also could of had the tail light mounted up a little further on the rear fenders to make them more horizontal; are those Spitfire light?

 

All in all a beautifull car and probably well worth the asking price; but I'd be worried about wrecking it so much that I would probably have a wreck....

Yes the headlights are turned sideways. I used to do the same thing vintage racing - there was less drag than if they were in the full frontal position. When you have a lawnmower engine powering you, every little bit helps!

 

Not sure about the taillights - they look correct but I cannot remember which parts bin they were stolen from originally.
