magicbob
Well the wife has given her blessing to build a locost. So I think my first order of business is to find someone relatively local and see if I can get my big butt into and out of one. I am in Akron, Ohio and am willing to drive a 100 miles or so to see one up close. I have been lurking here and on other boards for a few years, and have a pretty good idea of what I want to build. 11Budlite
Welcome Bob! I'm from Ct so I can't really help you, but there are some Seven owners from your area that are on this forum that should be able to help you out.
andrew7
Hi Bob, I'm 70-80 miles from Akron. I have two different types of Locost and your welcome to come check out the build pictures and cars. I'm recovering from a blown Appendices and not cleared to drive. Depending how big you are you might not fit in dads car, its a standard width Locost. I can PM you details if your interested. magicbob
Andrew, Thanks for the invite, I am a rather large guy over 6'1 and over 250. I pretty well know I will not fit a standard book car, I would still love to come and check them out and pick your brain for a while. Thanks Bob

magicbob
holy crap, it's been a while sense I looked at this board. Job change, working out of town, plain ol life. Oh well still thinking about this, so if the car in Copley is still around, I sure would like to check it out.
SCCA7
Hi Bob, I have a Locost that I started that I've been thinking of selling as I have just too many other car projects. I've collected alot of parts and would make a great package deal for all. Contact Craig Chima in Akron as he know more about building Lotus 7's than anyone.
