Ruadhd2
I need ideas for prettier and safer tail lights for Old Yellow. She will be getting a red stop light bar on her rollbar soon, but the taillights are from a 1934 Ford replica. They are too small for DC traffic and not that pretty, in my opinion. My prior Rotus had Caterham style lights, but Old Yellow has fenders that are two inches thinner. The most common Caterham style won't fit. Need something safer and prettier. Any pics of something different?
SkinnyG
The Caterham tails (red & amber lens only) on my Locost are only 7-1/2" wide - are you sure they won't fit?? G
Ruadhd2
Maybe my first ones were oversized.
Ruadhd2
I saw someone in the California Lotus club last year, who had imported 40 pairs of Britax lights, which were supposedly very well made and less expensive than the ones Caterham sells. JohnCh
Lots of options here. I am using the 3” Land Rover style lights with the Genesis 48 LED replacement for the 1157 bulb. The stock 1157 isn't particularly bright, but the Genesis is great with very good off-axis output. -John Edited July 19, 2010 by JohnCh Added link to LED lights

Ruadhd2
Very helpful. Think I'm going with the Britax UK Caterham style. They are approximately 7.5 by 3 inches and might fit.
