But if somebody knows where to find a DKW Munga, let me know. Drove it in the army (Germany) long time ago and would love to have one.

Solid 50 hp 3-cyl 2-stroke engine :)

You just missed one on Ebay last year in Florida...

I could take a few miatas from the local autox and put them in the deuce. Take them to an undisclosed location and set them free. Like mean people do when they don't want their pets anymore.

Here is one for you:

8 x 8 x Excellent: 1973 Tatra 813 Kolos

This 1973 Tatra 813 8×8 is perfect for the daily commute, with a tire inflation system on all eight wheels, roof hatches, and a cab air filtration system in case of chemical warfare. It is apparently ex-DDR East German Army and runs a 12-cylinder Diesel engine. Find it here on eBay in Quakertown, Pennsylvania with a Buy-It-Now of $9k. Special thanks to BaT reader Axel C. for this submission!

Hank,

Not to be picky, but having served in the Army 1967-69, I believe these 2 1/2-ton trucks were nicknamed "Deuce-and-a-Half," not just a "Deuce."

Don't sell your big rig short!

Tom, no harm. The forum we chat about all things military has shortened it to just "deuce". :D Thank you for your service!

Hi Hank, newbie here to the site. Was searching for locals with M35a2 when I came across this cool site. My kind of cars but the closest I can come is my street driver 81 Z-28. I was looking for M35 clubs or gatherings in this area. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Love that beast ya got there. I'm waiting on my EUC to clear before I can bring mine down from Huntsville. Thinking about a road trip to Alaska next year.
