squarefour Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 But if somebody knows where to find a DKW Munga, let me know. Drove it in the army (Germany) long time ago and would love to have one. Solid 50 hp 3-cyl 2-stroke engine You just missed one on Ebay last year in Florida... http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4902814-Find-of-the-Day-1957-Audi-DKW-Munga-Beach-Buggy-on-Crack
Hank Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 So Hank have you figured out how to load and unload your 7 into the back of your new toy yet? :cooldude: Well, I have been interested in these: http://powerdecks.com/product_display.aspx?product_guid=SuperDeck
MHKflyer52 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Hank, That is very cool but you would have to promises not to abscond with someone’s Miata so you could unload it and crush it with your new toy…..
Hank Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 I could take a few miatas from the local autox and put them in the deuce. Take them to an undisclosed location and set them free. Like mean people do when they don't want their pets anymore.

Alaskossie Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Hank, Not to be picky, but having served in the Army 1967-69, I believe these 2 1/2-ton trucks were nicknamed "Deuce-and-a-Half," not just a "Deuce." Don't sell your big rig short! Tom
Hank Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 Hank, Not to be picky, but having served in the Army 1967-69, I believe these 2 1/2-ton trucks were nicknamed "Deuce-and-a-Half," not just a "Deuce." Don't sell your big rig short! Tom Tom, no harm. The forum we chat about all things military has shortened it to just "deuce". Thank you for your service!
Rotties Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Hi Hank, newbie here to the site. Was searching for locals with M35a2 when I came across this cool site. My kind of cars but the closest I can come is my street driver 81 Z-28. I was looking for M35 clubs or gatherings in this area. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Love that beast ya got there. I'm waiting on my EUC to clear before I can bring mine down from Huntsville. Thinking about a road trip to Alaska next year.
Hank Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Visit http://www.steelsoldiers.com for everything military. Good luck on getting your EUC to clear in a timely fashion.
