Kitcat
Been there, but at a track day. I found it incredibly distracting to process the helmet problem, gloves, etc. I also worried abt whether my missing gloves, wh/likewise shot into my foot well, wld lodge under the pedals and mess up braking, shifting etc. Fortunately, at a track day, you do a slow lap and come back in. I was so thrown off I cld barely stay on the track-this guy is really racing. And in a downpour, just to make it more exciting. Great clip! xcarguy
Well, you know what they say (whoever 'they' are) . . . when the gloves come off, it's serious! :boxing:
scannon
Several F1 drivers have commented that with all the steering wheel controls it is like texting at 200 mph. I counted 18 different buttons and knobs on one steering wheel during practice for the Australian Grand Prix. Add to that six paddle shifters on the back of the wheel and you have your hands full. Edit: Here is a video on Massa's 2010 Ferrari steering wheel. YouTube - The Ferrari F10's steering wheel Edited April 9, 2011 by scannon
