Gentlemen

Further to last week’s email, about the June 27 and 28 New Jersey Motorsports Park sevens track day, I wanted to write and inform you that on June 11, the third annual New Jersey sevens run will take place in Milford, NJ. I am sending you this email as you have been identified as being within a reasonable driving distance of this event.

Many of you have participated in prior years and we hope to see you again. The plan is to meet June 11, 2011 in Milford, NJ at 10.30am at the town/church parking lot. The lot is located at the intersection of Bridge Street and Water St/Frenchtown Road. It is pretty easy to find as it is a one traffic light town and the parking lot is next to it.

The plan is to meet up at 10.30am, check out each other’s cars and then go for a 1.5 hour blat through the countryside. Bruce knows all the great roads and prior explorations have been great fun. We may be able to stop at the Vansant to check out the activity and the historic aircraft maintained there.

Afterward we return to Milford and go for lunch at the Ship Inn, located just across from the parking lot meeting point.

Even if you do not have a seven for the day you please turn up anyway to join in the fun.

If you plan to trailer your car to the event, Bruce Bowker has off-street parking available upon request.

If you know other seveners who are not active on the USA7s list please let them know they are welcome to attend.

Hope to see you all there.

Cheers

Have to be careful with this date.. wife's birthday. I'm not sure getting rid of me for a few hours qualifies as a birthday present, and the kids can't come along in the car obviously. Gears in my head are turning.

Hey guys!

I would love to come and make this. Only thing holding me back is a hillclimb in VT I might be participating in that same weekend.

If I do go I will need trailer parking space, but will update as time gets a bit closer.

Ryan - let me know about what time you will be in Milford. If you come in from the south through Frenchtown just bear right at the stop light intersection onto Water St. My house is the large gray one on the right across from the firehouse. Just go past a few yards and turn up Mill Street. You can unload there and then put the trailer in my back garage lot. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome and chance to park the trailer at your place Bruce. I actually had to bring my 7 to my buddy's shop yesterday after a day at Lime Rock (nothing serious) and looks like I will miss this weekends meet up most likely.

On a side note, and I'm going to post this up elsewhere on the site, do you guys have a recommended place for an alignment - preferably from a very experienced race oriented shop? After a very eye opening first track day with this car it needs to be set up properly for the track.

My wife is working Sat morning, so if I am able to come, it'd likely be with the kids in the truck. No S1 most likely, unless I can somehow get a grandparents visit for them, and my wife to drop them off (on her birthday).

Hopefully I'll be able to make another, since this one is looking unlikely.
