slngsht Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 1. What's the 3 bolt pattern on the steering wheel holes? i.e. what's the diameter of the hole pattern? 2. Anyone have a picture of the 2 bushing supports for the upper steering column? One bushing is right on the lower dash tube... looking for what the other one looks like. Thanks.
scannon Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Mazda, The three holes are 44mm center to center, I can't remember enough geometry to figure out the bolt circle. Here are some pictures of the supports and a bushing.
yellowss7 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Mazda, I have a Momo wheel, that was undrilled and was mated to a quick release column, that was drilled. My screws are mounted at 1 3/4 inch apart from each other. There are 3 of them evenly spaced. Hope that helps. I remember the bush in the front of the dash, as a white one with 2 little tabs on it. I can't recall installing the rear most bush. I think it may have been premounted at the factory. I could be wrong in my recollection though, that was 10 or 11 years ago. Tom
slngsht Posted June 24, 2011 Author Posted June 24, 2011 Perfect Skip. Just what I needed. Thank you. BTW, this little tool is handy: http://ostermiller.org/calc/triangle.html pattern radius is 25mm. I'll try it on the CNC router and see how it works out
