Great looking car. I like its new color scheme. It has to be new after its racing was finished as race cars always get banged up?

Interesting idea on the nose cone - you have a opening on the top front of the nose cone then further back on the nose cone, a small lip and then another opening. What was your idea for cooling/heat vent removal here?

Thanks,

Orange was a bit to much for me, and I had de new schuttle, 4 new wings (black), when I saw the Candy red I felt in love.

The history of the hole in the nose cone come from Racing. the C400 challenge went to Portugal for a race and it was far too warn. Everybody had to add an oil cooler as an emergency solution with a hole in the nose cone.

;)

the small lip on top is to remove air going along and create a wind extract from the nose cone.

Did you fnd much difference in power/speed/lap times between the BDR Caterham and the R400? If so, was it much?

I recently drove a BDR Caterham and it felt just as fast as my Duratec Birken 7.

Hard to say, it depens.

My BDR was a 1700cc with 170bhp claim by Caterham (but In fact it was a bit less I guess 150/160).

My Duratec is given for 220BHP but it's certenly more, about 230/235.

The sequential gearbox improves also a lot.

Yes it's a lot faster just for the engine.

The more important is the chassis, the C400 chassis is far in front. Big brakes all around, race dumpers, better front suspension, quick rack, chassis a lot stiffer, full roll cage helps.

It's like to compare a ferrari 308 or 348 lap time to a 458. Power is one thing but chassis is more important as long as you know how to use it. ;)
