S1Steve
Pitpass.com and Espn F1 are both reporting that New Jersey will be hosting a Grand Prix in 2013. No date or place was givin, but it does say No Tax Payer Dollars will be used. Time will tell.....
bball7754
Weehawken. I read about this possibility a few weeks agon on Joe Saward's F1 blog. Here is a link to a short article about it: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204618704576645651553992120.html
Croc
Hmm....i guess i can claim to have driven part of that track already in the seven as i use the roads through Weehawken and WNY to get up to the Palisades parkway. Yes the roads have a nice backdrop of NYC but River Road is notorious as a traffic congestion spot already what would it be like with the road closures to make a track. BUs service to get there is pretty poor but there is a light rail and a decent ferry services from midtown and lower manhattan. I think this is one GP i might want to watch from the comfort of my living room on tv- assuming this even happens.
blubarisax
Very cool, I lived in Weehawken until a few years back. It will be interesting to see the route.
