think about how small the sparkplugs are, and the real cooling system, and hardened crank and other parts! THIS is incredible!

I wounder how many hours it took to make the complete engine...just amazing.

 

At the end of the video, I believe "Horas de Trabajos" = Hours of work = 1220

 

That's 30.5 40-hour weeks :ack:

I didn't think it had spark plugs, I thought it was running on compressed air.

A ton of work for a show piece, but something to be proud of.

Exhaust opens about 30 degrees crankshaft, bevore bottom dead center

Exhaust closes 10 degrees before top dead center

Inlet opens about 10 degrees before TDC

Intake closes about 30 degrees after bottom dead center

valve overlap approximately 20 degrees

Horsepower approximately 6-8 HP

glowplaqe 4 stroke GRAUPNER

fuel= Methanol,5-10 % Nitromethan and minimum 10% syntetic hi-perfomance-lubrication

camshaft lubrication use ordinary egine oil

For maximum reliability Automatically glow set is recommended.

That is a lot of time an energy but I guess all things of passion are that way.
