I may try to get there for the lunch and a beer. Just let me know where and when to meet. I've gotta see what new goodies mike has on the CSR.

The plan is to meet across from the Ship Inn in Milford, NJ at 10 am. The drive is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on how long at the airport. Also depends on what time we actually leave after 10 am. So I would assume we would be back about 12:30 to 1 pm for lunch at the Ship?

My current plan is we (myself and the wife) to get to the Ship 12.30 to 1.00 for lunch. I think the car is ready but wont get a chance to check it over until tomorrow morning unfortunately. Weather looking good! :)

Hi Martin - Are you not joining us for the drive piece? If not and you are waiting there wondering what happened to us just give my cell a call - I think I gave it to you some time back - if not I can PM it again.

Roman - Sorry to hear that the saga of your seven continues. I dont think you need luck - more likely a drink or three!

It was a good day although it threatened rain at times. Somehow I still made it home without getting wet or putting the hood up.

Some pics:

Steve turned up at the beginning and the first part of the drive before having to head off with chores. John's green S3 sits behind:

The annual tall stories contest is just underway with Bruce, Bob and Steve. Dave's red Triumph sits in the background - his current wheels while his Birkin is fixed. He played passenger with John today:

Jeremy from PA turned up with his nicely patinaed 1965 S2 seven:

Jon demonstrates yet again how you flatten your battery in 5 minutes in a seven:

A brief rest stop at Van Sant Airport to check out the planes. Ron's R500 in the foreground, then Jeremy's S2, my CSR, Bruce's beast, John's S3 and way way away in the distance, Jon's SV.

A photocall at Tinicum Park:

At lunch, Tim joined us with his S1:

And for those at the Ship Inn at lunch the Austin Healey Spa video is now posted in the road racing section of the USA7s forum.

Great day - when are we doing this again?

thanks mike. tomorrow 9am i will do battle with the 7 again. i cant wait to get her on the road. so much new gear (new suspension, new wheel/tire, working turbo system, big injectors, etc) on her that i really want to feel out. once she is running the next thing i will be doing is replacing those craptastic glasspacks with hushpowers so i will be able to go for a drive without my head hurting.

so close!!!

Hi Roman - Sounds like you have bitten off more than you can chew? It was already a fire breathing monster when I last saw it 2 years ago. However, with those changes I would not mind seeing it again - you always had nice details and ideas on it.

Roman,

(If your 7 is still down) As far as I know, my passenger seat is open, should you wish to join us.

Weather looks pretty good. My wife's been sick, but has been feeling better so far today. I should still see you all there tomorrow around 8 or so.
