Guest Terry
Had an amazing time at The Ridge, when we go back next month we need to change the gearing as the poor old girl was on the limiter in 6th doing a 162 mph. Only 10 cars at the track so lots of seat time and lots of space to learn the track. The track is very fast lots a huge elevation changes and blind crests. My only question is I'm not sure how well it will race. In car video footage coming soon.
MHKflyer52
the poor old girl was on the limiter in 6th doing a 162 mph. That is faster than a lot of very high end race cars......just amazing a 7 can go that fast and stay on the ground.
Kitcat
What's really amazing is that he wants to change gearing in order to go faster:). Looks like a great track, looking forward to vid.
m wirth
well that's 35 mph faster than I attained, partially from fear for the end of the straight and also the brick aero. Terry, how did your car handle the drop just after the carousel? being a novice it was a little spooky for me at anything over 75, maybe after they have the final surface on it will be a smoother transition, but the next corner you can stand on it early all the way to the thumb corner. The track is a blast and faster than Oregon Raceway Park, which is where I have mostly driven, but to me very flowing track, my favorite section is from the end of the straight to the drop after the carousel. Guest Terry
You are quite correct about the bomb hole we were going in there just over 80 and the back of the car was quite unsetteled. I concur with your comments on the best part of the track, turn 1 was just a over 100mph and it thing it will be way quicker than that when we bring the slicks and wing next month. I thought the downhill section was a little disipointing.
supersportsp
I am assuming you guys are talking about the track in Shelton, WA? What did you two think of the Palatov cars if you were there for the same event (I assume)? I was hoping to pop down just to watch Saturday but went skiing instead. m wirth
Hello, I was the weekend before Terry, at the track in Shelton (Ridge) and the Palatovs weren't there just a couple of Ariels, some Vipers and the assorted Porsches and M3's. I have seen the Palatovs before at PIR and ORP and I think they are quite amazing. Here is one lapping ORP. [/url]

Guest Terry
My partner and I have talked at length since getting back from The Ridge and we are both convinced that this Track isn't raceable, yet at the same time it is probably one of the finest drivers tracks there is. supersportsp
Palatov? http://www.dpcars.net/dp4/index.htm Dennis had his cars there 4/20-4/21. Was curious if you shared the track with them and if so what the relative speed was of the DP4 in particular to your car.
