After looking for a 7 for years (the right car, one that could be imported to Canada, etc.) I finally purchased one last week.

1988 Pre-lit Westfield with a Post-lit SE narrow rebody. Red top Vauxhaul 2l and 5 speed Type 9 tranny. New paint and under 6,000 orig. miles.

I have a great 90 minute to 2 hour loop that goes from Ford drive and the QEW.

If you want to come for a blat, drop me a PM.

Congrats on the acquisition!

Yes they are Caterham. So are the windshield parts I believe. I just bought some wind wings for it. They will get installed this weekend(bought them with hardware but not drilled since the area is a hybrid of Westfield and Caterham). Car is amazing. I have fast cars - 400hp 2004 SRT-4 and a 750hp 1998 Viper GTS but this is totally different. I guess sitting 12" above the ground with no doors amplifies the sensation. Car definately needs more rubber in the back to hook up better. Will look at new wheels and tires next season. Will just enjoy it the way it is this year. Thanks, Ron.

I had a good experience importing tires to mississauga from midlandwheels in the UK. Fast delivery and a better price than I could find locally even with duty

Trough: I actually called you on a Saturday morning to take a drive out to see it. Got your voice mail and did not leave a message. The following week I found the Westfield for sale. Sorry, must have been fate!

Terry: Thank you for your time on the phone over the last while talking about Caterhams. Probably will still own one eventually....in the meantime I am sure enjoying this car!

Ron.

Welcome to the madness, your car looks great, forget about adding big rubber to these cars you have more fun on skinny tires.

I am starting to understand about having more fun with the skinny tires. Great fun sliding it around corners!
