breezy7 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Seems a pretty quick exit after the recent changes. Link to the announcement http://hosted-p0.vresp.com/843201/58447cc6af/ARCHIVE Mike
Boxologist Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Better order all of my stuff before Caterham Lotuses themselves into oblivion.
Croc Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Oh good - he has been replaced by an accountant. Accountants rule! :hurray:
bball7754 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) A few of the posts on Blatchat describe Macdonald as a "petrolhead". I guess it's better to promote an accountant than the head of marketing (see Dany Bahar). Edited June 20, 2012 by bball7754
athens7 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I'm sure everything will be fine. After all, GM was run by accountants for years, right up until the bailout/bankruptcy...:willy_nilly:
Guest Terry Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I met Ansar on several occasions, he is a very pleasent man who has bought a huge amount of prosperity to Caterham. He will be missed.
breezy7 Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 Came across this article about Caterham profits being down http://www.pitpass.com/46813-Caterham-profits-reverse-by-more-than-30
Croc Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I would not worry too much about the profits being down. Losing a CEO carries a high penalty for leaving payouts which will have been a "biggish" cost pushing down the reported profits. Remove that and things look fine.
Guest Terry Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Could he be going to Lotus? Don't you mean back to Lotus.
