Promise this is the last Trailer thread from me ever!

Does someone with a relatively recent vintage narrow bodied Caterham similar to mine (wide suspension and 15 in wheels preferred) have the time, inclination, and access to their car (mine is getting the water rail put in) to fill out a short form regarding certain dimensions of the car?

 

It's stuff like overhang, etc.

Here's all you need III:

 

Fronts inside clear: 46"

Fronts out to out: 58"

Rears inside clear: 44"

Rears out to out: 60"

Front to rear, c to c: 88"

Overall length: 124" +/-

Overhangs: negligible - 6" +/-

Measurements taken w/ slicks on the car.

 

Get torsion suspension.

Full decks just add weight.

Get radial trailer tires.

I do a lot of autocrossing in my car and here is how I get the slicks on 13" wheels to the event. The jack sit on the passenger side floor and I'm good to go. The rack uses the 3 pick-up points normally used by the spare tire carrier.

 

Fun with tubing.

Do you want a photo of the rack mounted on the car sans tires? If so I don't have one but the rack goes on this weekend for a race and I could take one.

Final question...should the ramps pull out of the left side or right? I'm thinking right, so I'm not standing in the middle of the road.
