scannon Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Very entertaining story. http://expeditionportal.com/adventures/featured-adventures/1739-chasing-the-cuban-gullwing.html
Kitcat Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Definitely a fun read. It will be an interesting moment when they pry Castro's cold, dead hands off the country he has strangled for the last 70 years. If capitalism is re-introduced to the island its effect could be profound and transformative. Hope I live long enough to see it.
S1Steve Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I'm just waiting for that old fuc* to drop dead also. I would be nice to see it as it is. Before it turns into Cancun east....
Z3 Stalker Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Parts of Cuba are like Cancun (Varadaro etc) the rest is quite rustic and the old cars that they use should be in a museum, but they are well looked after. The people appear to be friendly; I believe the cigars are good (I do not smoke) the cigars I give out everyone seemed to enjoy. Personally I am in rush to go back, there are other islands I would go to first, but that’s just me.
