Yup...kit was made in Van Kleek Hill, Ontario by Guy Williams. Legal hassles over his clone of the Dutton kit prompted the new model I believe.

He did make some other sevenish kits but haven't heard a peep about him in years.

Come on Bessie, lighten up. I am sure you have been called a "Dune Buggy" before which is much worse than a "Dutton" or "Beaver"?. TeeHee

I suspect I am in the minority here, but that seems to be a decent looking attempt at making this style of car a bit more aerodynamic. I'd have to see it in person, but I kind of like it. I love the look of the Series 1 - 3 Sevens, but if you did have to make it more aerodynamic.... I wonder if it has a significantly reduced drag coefficient?

Vankleek Hill? Wow, never thought that town would come up here! One of my best friends lives there. It's a one traffic light sized-town!

Had to chuckle at your "one traffic light town" comment... our little town of Morrisburg is not a lot bigger and only has 1 light!

Guy was actually not in town...built his kits literally in a barn a few miles out.

Am suddenly feeling old when I recall that it was likely 25 years ago that I was last there!

Where DID the time go?
