Manshoon11 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Got one or know of one for sale? The badder the better. Dry sump etc.
Gherkin Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I have one in my shop, it's really bad, possibly because the sump went dry... Chris
xcarguy Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I have one in my shop, it's really bad, possibly because the sump went dry... Chris I think he meant 'bad-to-the-bone' bad, not 'bad' bad. :jester:
Kitcat Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 When my Duratec's sump went dry it was bad in the traditional sense (Really bad in the really traditional sense)! Twice. The Raceline oil pan Birkin uses is not adequate for track use, even w/mods that Texas Motor Works and Dick Brink recommend. Or at least on the tracks that I drive(:.
Wings Aviation Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Ford in Daytona is selling a brand new 2.0 on ebay for knockout money. Buy it complete sell the head swap it for a 2.3 head, buy the bits and you'll have a brand new motor for great money.... Chama, pistons, dry sump and an intake will give you a great motor.
