Paul Hill
Looking for an assembly manual (or readable copy) for a mid 70s short cockpit Caterham. Caterham's archives could offer nothing.
breezy7
The California Caterham Club site has a PDF of the assembly guide under the resource tab that may help. I don't know what years it covers but can't believe there were too many changes over the years.
Paul Hill
I checked that one out but no cigar: de dion rear, much much later model year. Quite a few suspension/brake differences (4 wheel discs), wiring diagrams, interior. Enough obvious differences to leave me dubious of its value. Hence my post looking for an older version. bball7754
Paul - Believe this post on Blatchat was made by Terry. Maybe he was looking for a manual for you? http://www.blatchat.com/t.asp?id=237736 Steve
Paul Hill
That may be the case, been playing phone tag with Terry for 2 days. Am still not sure the '90s manuals that have been offered to him are close enough to our '75/76 model. Anything is more than presently in hand though so am not going to complain. escondidoron
While not an assembly manual, you might want to consider another source. This book is a very good reference for live axle Sevens and covers early Caterhams: Lotus Seven: Preparation, Restoration and Maintenance by Tony Weale. A bit on the expensive side but a very valuable resource. If you're patient used copies come up on Ebay UK regularly, sometimes for reasonable prices. Just a thought. Paul Hill
I have Tony's book....if my son ever brings it back! Actually have quite a number of 7 oriented volumes but Tony's is definitely the bible.
