c/n: brand new lug nuts, probably were the incorrect size.

From the looks of the hubs and the studs in the vid I would bet that the lugs were cheap ones and were over tightened and stripped or the rims with the track tires were to thick at the attaching face for the stud leinght and that would cause the lugs to only thread onto the stud a little and then strip once loaded in a turn or some one had it in for that guy.

Sure did mess up a nice car.

I'll bet the TECH crew recived a lecture on checking lugs and wheels.
