Let's set an example for the next nuclear negotiation

Recommended Posts

This will be interesting to see... With recent events in Ukraine, we'll see if "assurances" are worth the paper they're written on.

Ukraine gave up its nuclear stockpile peacefully in return for assurances from UK, US, and Russia regarding its independence and protection of its sovereignty.

Unfortunately for them, it was signed by slick willy and obama will be the enforcer.

Let's hope this ends well for the Ukrainians.

Germany will be the key. As it's Russia's biggest trading partner in the EU. If Angela restricts this trade it will piss off Putin's bosses (the Oligarch's) If America & Germany pulls the visa's for said Oligarch's children (thus kicking them from school) That could also up the pressure on Putin.

Things such as this and the general practice of our government to very rarely follow through on a promise has me scratching my head as to why the American citizens insist on handing over more and more power to them.

A good example is my health care. I was never to be effected by the ACA as I'm retired military. Part of my AGREED upon benefits was medical care. Now due to the ACA the government has decided to alter that agreement. They now say that if I live more than a two hour drive away from a military base I must sign up for Obama care. That's going to be a huge hit to my paltry military pension check.

But as the American public is more concerned with the latest Iphone far more than they are concerned with their countries future. It will of course continue to spiral downwards to the (private) glee of those in power.
