Frame number location

Does anyone know the location of the frame number on a 1999 Caterham Seven??

Not the chassis number ID plate, but the number stamped into the frame by Arch Motors

I think it is stamped in two places.

 

1) pedal box

metal frame, just below the cover for the pedal box.

You should be able to view it with the cover on.

 

2) under where the roll bar mount.

Have not confirmed this, but that is I was told

I have an Arch chassis and it is clearly stamped next to the base of the passenger side roll bar. I have never seen any stamping near the pedal box although I have looked closely on my own car.

Mine has it stamped on the bracket that supports the clutch cable.
