Early Caterham Brake Pads

My 1991 Caterham Seven (Crossflow, T-9 5 Speed, DeDion Axle) 1700 Super Sprint still has the original brake pads, under 15,000 miles since build.

 

Can anyone tell me from what car and model Caterham sourced the disc brakes so I can order a new set now the car is being used for track days?

Your best bet is to email the guys at Redline components. They have been the supplier to the Caterham factory for donkeys years. And probably have the biggest stock of early parts around. And even more historic info they are happy to share. Great folks to deal with.

Mick at Redline doesn't always respond to e-mail. He probably predates its invention by several decades. Sometimes calling him is sure thing....or send an e-mail and then call. He worked for Caterham I believe when they made the conversion to dedion. I think they always used the Sierra rear calipers on dedion cars, but he would know.
