lucky dawg Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Well, they kind of build a 160 http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/top-gear-builds-a-caterham-160-2014-5-16
scannon Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 That was a lot more realistic than the last time they supposedly built one in a shop while the Stig drove some distance across England. Fun to watch but I was hoping Clarkson was going to make a few laps around the BBC building like he did with the Peel.

I was hoping they would cut a hole in the wall and drive it straight out of the office. :hurray:
scannon Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I was hoping they would cut a hole in the wall and drive it straight out of the office. :hurray: That would have been spectacular but the office is on the second floor. Maybe they could have parked a couple of caravans under the window for it to land on. The Top Gear office, by virtue of being on the second floor, is accessed by many flights of stairs.
xcarguy Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 . . . . the office is on the second floor . . . Yessir, the most definitely would have been spectacular! :auto: . . . . . :ack: . . . . :dupe:
CASwede Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Egan forgot to take his car home when he retired. ...actually, I believe it is in Houston now.
MoPho Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Who at R&T owns the Seven? It belongs to Sam Smith the executive editor. He had an Elan prior to the 7. .
