Gherkin Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) My Birkin was originally spec'd with Brookland screens but I switched to a standard windshield before delivery. The car came to me with this mirror, I have held onto it to keep my options open for changing the windscreen someday but I need the cash to pay a tuning bill (trying to keep my 7 expenses off the household books...) Carbon fiber housing Convex mirror Mirror size: 2 1/8" high X 8 5/8" wide X 2 1/4" deep Overall height:7 1/2" This mirror is in excellent condition, the only marks on it are from the button head allen bolts used at the mounting holes and will be covered once installed. These sell new for about $300 (182.70 British lbs.) at Demon Tweeks and $359 at Pegasus. Selling for $185 (Including shipping within the USA) Thanks for looking, Chris Edited May 26, 2014 by Gherkin
xcarguy Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 That's my old mirror. Hey Chris, how's the Birkin doing?
Gherkin Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 That's my old mirror. Hey Chris, how's the Birkin doing? The Birkin is doing great, now... as they say the third time's the charm, or in this case the third engine's the charm... I think I had a problem with the water injection (possible self inflicted) that had the engine way down on compression and pressurizing the crankcase. I picked up a low mile replacement, lowered the boost a bit, and left in the stock cams as a baseline to get everything dialed in. After this set up is deemed completely sorted and reliable I'll reinstall the cams. After that... well these things are never done .
