Bonjo2
Anyone need to run one? If so, how fitted and photo? I want to run time attack at a local circle track and they won't let me on the track without a roof, window nets, and arm restraints. Roof is negotiable due my roll cage, but side protection is not. James A
A window net and arm restraints doesn't make a lot of sense, SCCA and NASA require one or the other on closed top cars and arm restraints on open top cars with a cage.
JBH
I run a cage, arm restraints and a Hans. A window net is an alternative except there is no window... I don't intend to sound flippant, but the reality is your arms could go any number of directions and a net in the window area only limits one direction. Sprint cars about the closest analogy: cage + arm restraints + Hans
xcarguy
Perhaps the netting is to limit head/neck lateral movement during a side impact such as these installed on this Stalker: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=24609
