Canadian 7
This is the alternator from my Vauxhall powered Westfield. I can't read the part number. Can anybody please tell me what alternator this is? Thanks in advance, Ron. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/620690ad3ed2f06db926ced179f543d2.jpg http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/6f5f08412dc2bfff19b80e9511799c51.jpg http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/c78ec2101fad341883d6382aad8564a7.jpg

ecarte56
looks like a 12v 50 amp Nippondenso: http://www.spidermarine.com/inventory/101344-100-new-nippondenso-12-volt-50-amp-alternator you will want to check the rotation before you buy it. Canadian 7
Went to a local starter and alternator repair shop this morning to get my alternator tested. As suspected it was not putting out enough juice to charge the battery. Was going to get it repaired then the owner looked in one of his display cabinets and had a brand new same model in stock! What are the odds. $100 bucks later (great price too!) and hopefully will be back on the road. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj527/vipergts-r/0546f536dc8c6c005129d47d73e91c43.jpg
Paul Hill
Might I suggest snapping a picture of the label for future use? How did we survive before phones with buit-in digital cameras? Makes so many re-assembly jobs so much easier when that "quick" job turned into weeks and our memory turned to mush....
NVP66S
What are the odds. $100 bucks later (great price too!) and hopefully will be back on the road. The odds are pretty good. Lots of manufacturers use Nippon Denso alternators. I think only some models of Honda turn the other direction. The differences are in size (amp rating) and mounting configuration. Canadian 7
Apparently this alternator is used in some Japanese small trucks!

I have the same one on my Storker. Same as found on a '92 Geo Priszm.
