Is this user on the forum? I'd like to inquire and see more on the diagonal brace from rollbar to passenger chassis area. 

He's a user with a Superlight R like mine. Mine also came with the petty bar/strut from the factory. It requires removing the passenger seat.

The petty strut off the car looks like this

This is for a later car than yours.  Yours would have to be fabricated as it is no longer available from Caterham.  It would be straightforward as your roll bar should have the mount hole plus the chassis hole should still be there.  

This is a petty strut installed on my 2019 metric chassis.  Don't mind the drivers seat, that was a trial fit from a different car.

Thanks for sharing that. Much better angle to appreciate the installation. Seems like something fairly straightforward to fabricate as well. 

Sorry guys- just home from the office!

Mine looks similar to the green car but mounts into a boss on one of the down legs of the roll bar.

Easy to put in place/remove.  Not really sure it does much for safety but can't hurt to have another mount into the frame.

If you need exact pics of mine let me know and I'll try to get them to you.

Thanks Jim- . This piece is pretty straight forward and i like that it's a removable bolted connection. Could you post closer shots of the mounting points? I can see your points are different than on the green car.
