  1. Any one interested in a gathering on Mara lake this summer. I've got camping room, lots of BBQ's and lakefront. I'm sure I can find few roads to run and there are wineries aplenty.
  2. That mouse deserves to live.......
  3. I put a Lotus badge on the nose of my scratch built seven replica as an homage to the seven and to Colin Chapman. When people ask I tell them the whole story of building it and of the seven in general. I can well afford a Caterham or any number of other exotics but I build things and I built my replica. It is a great satisfaction to blast down the road in a car that you built yourself, no apologies for the lotus badges.
  4. Forgive me, but why? David

  17. Thanks for the kind words guys. p.s. curious about those wheels???? Stock Toyota, just painted. the drifter types call them "pizza cutters" Very nice. I admit I'd be a bit nervous driving without a roll bar, though. Old school or as David Hobbs would say I have large attachments:D 1hckb2, I'm in Kamloops and we've met. I'm Crystal's cousin. The mirrors do work but the side one was added in a hurry for the inspector, it was a universal mount from a motorcycle shop. I'll post some more pics and video in the spring..............

  19. Oh and I've heard all the John Deere jokes
  20. I see that I joined in 2007 and have two posts! I guess I was a little intimidated by all the "real" sevens and clones on here. But I can see that every one seems to be welcome so after getting on the road this fall I thought I would show off my pride and joy. Scratch built except for the fiberglass it is powered by a slightly modified Toyota 4AGE running Weber carbs. I think it probably puts out about 160 to 170HP and weighs 1275lbs. with half a tank of gas. Anyway here it is..................
  21. Hey turboeric, I tried to send you a PM but it doesn't seem to work. Drop me line... dfdahl@telus.net
