Frankn7 is still in storage, but the Caterham R1 chassis I bought a few years ago is on its way to a new home. In its place is a different kind of 7 project I've been working on for a few months, banging away rivet by rivet. End product will be a Vans RV-7a (similar to this - not mine) http://www.meyette.us/rv-7a.jpg At the moment, about 80% done with tail section and wings. There is at least another 3 years of work left before an airworthy aircraft is ready to take flight.

I received an email from Gary S that Folis Jones has passed away. I met Folis at the Dragon and had the pleasure of sitting down for a couple of hours with he and his wife for some very enjoyable conversation. Prayers for his loved ones. RIP Friend :sadangel:

I was there last weekend. Not a single Lotus in sight, but turnout was big and it was definitely worth going. Hopefully will catch up with you again one of these times. -
