  1. No top for me... instead I bought a used trailer, and have been pounding on that  I know what you mean about the trannies. I have about 20-30 hrs of FSAE seat time. Back in the day, we used the bike clutch lever on the shifter, so you still used the hand clutch along with the shifter There won't be any taunting - I promise :grouphug: Besides, there will probably be one or two V8's and one or two BECs.
  2. PM Sent. Let's talk shipping tomorrow... I could have it on the car by 7/7/7 if things work out.
  3. Here you go skip: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=209 Scroll down to Slomove's post.
  4. I recall seeing somebody have a consealed unit mounted inside the nose cone... I'll see if I can find it. It was very nicely done.
  5. Sorry skip. I was really looking forward to meeting you there
  6. still has to be inspected and tagged. :willy:
  7. I worked 21 hrs on Monday, 15 hours on Tuesday. :ack:
  8. because it's getting close to 7/7/7 and there is so much left to do?
  9. I'd say it's more of a cross between 7 and Cobra. If you cross a 7 with a prowler, it automatically becomes heavy and slow
  10. So, how much are these trailers setting you back? :bigears: I ended up going the cheapo route with a 16' dual axle steel trailer. With that setup, my friend went in with me to split the cost. As usual, I bought something used that requires work, so here I am 6 days before leaving, and I'm working on the trailer now
  11. Oh, we will.
  12. Well, I started with clamshells, and now I'm running None in the front. You can get some nice rooster tails in the rain, and if you go slow enough (about 15 mph), it can all land on your head when you turn
  13. I just want to taste the neighbor's... nevermind
  14. Any of you BEC guys willing to trade rides at 7/7/7? Not on the Dragon itself - I don't have a death wish.
  15. Can you get one for me too?
  16. I have to find those and add them :yesnod: Only for the BEC section
  17. Skip, I missed your post where you said it's official. Congrats man!
  18. 245 ft.lbs is decent on the hartly 190 ft.lbs on the RST - well, at least it has enough torque for my lug nuts -- Where are the "Bike Engines" in those pics? (flame suite on) Going out of the Bike section as fast as my clunky car engine will take me :seeya:
  19. Yes, definitely remind me. I'd love to come up there. Hopefully it won't be on the same weekend as the (yet to be determined) snowshoe trip.
  20. I'll let Skip start his own. Practice makes perfect This thread is headed to the Events section :seeya:
  21. Cool, so far I have tentatives from Steve, Michael D, Scott, John V., and possibly Jeff Duncan (can't remember). Maybe the stars will line up. It'll be an awesome drive.
