  1. I gave rides to Solder Guy (rob), Jon (Boxologist), Brian (Automobile mag photographer), my nephew. Folis, Johnny (Jalopnik), and Preston from Automobile drove my car. I did not get any rides or drives due to lack of time. I had promised a ride to David from Hemmings, and completely forgot before I loaded my car :banghead:. I have promised him one whenever he is in the DC/MD/VA area.
  2. Email them to me and I will post them (mazda_ebrahimi@yahoo.com). If possible, please zip them up in one file.
  3. Nah, the weekend flew by so fast, even those of us there didn't get to take in everything. I was RIGHT there, and my seven is STILL the only seven I've ever driven :nonod: And I had several offers... Just ran out of time. There are several ideas floating around for the next one.
  4. Mike, did we get to meet? PM me a picture of yourself. Did you not buy the blue car? I don't recall seeing your car.
  5. I have some footage, although not of the big drive. I will edit tonight and post something. I have a little section of my hood almost flying off, because I forgot to clamp it down
  6. Skip, check my post in page 1. As I told everyone at the event, I'm horrible with names. I listed what I could remember.
  7. I'm sure it's not the weight, nor the right foot. LS1's are generally very fuel efficient. It's not unusual for me to get 31+ MPG in the vette while cruising on the highway. I doubt I can get close to that mileage anymore in the Rotus with the bigger wheels, and head/cam package.
  8. I had nothing to do with this: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/998915955_IMG_3623.jpg :leaving:
  9. killboy photos are starting to show up... From Thursday: Bill's Seven
  10. That was VERY FUNNY. I completely fell for that, because the part he had in his hand happened to have a bent tab exactly like the piece on my car. I was thinking WTF! That was classic.
  11. Ah, I remember... My 7 year old son voted for your car as best in show
  12. Here are the LSIS standings... notice some positions are missing (for example we start with 2. That indicates the missing position was a non-LSIS.) Format is: position|class|car number|Name|Car|Best time 2|em|53|David Seybold|06 Brunton Stalker Superstalker|34.882 3|em|70|Mark Rivera|06 Locost MX7|35.02 4|bm|19|Jeff Underwood|07 Champion Locost 7|35.809 5|em|77|Paul Perry|46 Brunton Stalker|36.354 6|em|71|Heikki Rinta-Koski|05 Locost 7|36.802 8|dm|9|Norm Beaver|79 Caterham 7|37.19 9|em|7|Mazda Ebrahimi|79 Rotus Super 8|37.336 10|dm|56|Russ Strough|00 Birkin 7|37.507 12|em|40|Kevin Boulton|Ultralite S2K|38.206 19|ndm|8|Steve Taylor|00 Caterham Super Seven|39.065 20|nem|127|Paul Roupas|Deman SR27|39.079 24|nem|27|Dino Trakas|07 Deman SR27 Sr27|40.377 26|ndm|69|Jonathan Cohen|02 Caterham 7 Sv|40.572 27|dm|1|Jerry Eddens|04 WCM Ultralite S2k|40.783 30|nem|7|Frank Fenoglio|Caterham 7|41.572 33|ndm|4|Don Freeman|92 Caterham Super 7|45.277
  13. That's a bummer. I wish we had caravaned together... we could've tossed the Rotus off the trailer and towed his car.
  14. so, who is C ME SPEED?
  15. No problem with your post. Thank you for the info.
  16. This has one of Kevin's runs (from my camera), as well as my best run. http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/777_Autox.wmv

  18. Just like the old times (at skyline), only bigger  http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1871357478_CIMG1662.JPG
  19. Also, HUGE thanks to Bill and Marcy!!! Bill donated his fantastic work on the model, as well as helped us with the autocross setup. Marcy did so much work at the registration desk, as well as so many other things.
  20. Hi Steve, glad to hear you made it back OK. 32 MPG is NICE! The only time I measured mine was on my recon trip to skyline before our cruise last year. on a mix drive that included some mountain roads, and some highway, I averaged 26 MPG
  21. Hey guys, we made it back home safely. I picked up a nail in my 5 day old minivan tire... oh well. Well, what can I say? Everything went pretty smoothly. I had such a great time meeting a ton of friendly people. As most of you know, I couldn't remeber alot of names, nor what day it was  I got to spend a fair amount of time with several of you, which I REALLY enjoyed. I wish I had more time to get to spend more time with everyone. My real regret is not being able to swap rides with folks. I had several offers to either drive or ride in other people's cars, including the westfield, and got so busy that I didn't get around to it. By the way, Kevin is an animal in that car. I loved watching him toss it around in the autox. He also gunned the SR27 on the way to the autox behind me. I didn't notice it at first, so I don't know if I was pulling away, or if he was reeling me in
  22. David Seybold won the overall with his superstalker. Badazz sound goes to Jeff... I had my back to the course when he started his first run, and after the 4th shift, I turned around to see who the hell was running in 4th gear and where they were going Then I saw Jeff's car screaming down the course, and it all made sense My car did OK. I knew going in the springs were way too soft, and she rolled around like a Cadillac, but still got decent times. Alot of tuning needs to be done.
  23. alright... i do have at least a couple of vids, but they'll have to wait until I edit them... Here are some pics from today. http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/totd/CIMG1649.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/totd/CIMG1648.JPG http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/totd/CIMG1647.JPG Scott Lentz on right, Russ Strough (near), and SteveT on left.
