1. Well, it's gonna take more than 60K
 2. Satisfaction in completing the project... Priceless smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

 3. Well, it's up to $34.5 K with 3 days to go
 4. I don't have an opinion either way yet. I should make the test run in the next couple of weeks and check the places out. This weekend would've been great to go up there, but family things have come up. Whatever we decided, we should do it soon because rooms go fast.
 5. Yeah... I don't know if I could part with a car after that much work. He posted it in the for sale section here, and I posted it for him on Corvette Forum OT... The first bid came from there smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

 6. Looks like you already have one bid from a Corvette Forum member smileys/smiley36.gif[/img] .

If I thought I could toss in my seven and my vette for it, i'd consider it, but I'm not going to insult you with that offer. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1349371&for um_id=26 Amazing car. I'd be too attached to sell it. What's your next project?slngsht38805.4772222222
 8. Couple of updated pics: Everything removed: http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/dash4.jpg Switches starting to take shape on mockup dash http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/dash5.jpg
 9. I thought about curving the middle of the dash a little to give more shifter room, but I think I'll just bend the shifter back a little. haven't decided on a finish yet. Flat black is nice because it'll reduce glare and make the screen easier to see. Plus it'll blend right in with the switch cluster I'm planning to put in.
 10. Not for long... Planning to move the computer there, to keep it away from heat.
 11. I'm finally getting around to work on my dash. The cawl and windshield were extremely easy to remove... only took 30 minutes. Here are some pics of the mess back behind the dash: http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/dash1.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/dash2.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/dash3.jpg I'll post up pics as I work my way through the project.
 12. I have the following tires for sale: NITTO NT450 2 - 205 50 R 15 2 - 225 50 R 15 The 225s are $80 from discount tire (> http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/findTireDetail.do?c s=225&pc=40095&rd=15&ar=50). I don't know how much the 205s are. These tires have about 500 miles on them. No autox or racing miles. I'll take $50 apiece for them. Prefer local sale - can bring to Carlisle kit car show... -Mazda
 13. Who all is going in May to the kit car show? This would be my first time for the kit car show. I've been there a couple of times for the Corvette weekend, and it's been a massive show. Do Sevens have their own little section for parking?
 14. Well, it was brought to my attention by Esko that May 20/21 coincides with the Carlisle kit car show, which I imagine many of us would like to go to. For some reason I thought that event was on the 14/15. How is everyone with using June 3/4 as the primary date? I think there were more people OK with that date anyway, but the problem was that a rain date would start pushing into July. Please chime in.
 15. What are your alignment specs?
 16. Do you have the rim width and diameter?
 17. It would be a great time. I'll see if I can work in into the sched.
 18. What does everybody use for camera mounts? I just made this one from some parts I had laying around. Seems to do the job. Just curious what other products are out there. It still needs to be painted, and I need to get a couple of plastic spacers in place of the nuts you see in the pics. http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/camera1.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/slngsht/camera2.jpg ... and a >short vid... definitely needs a remote mic.slngsht38781.6247800926
 19. Welcome aboard Jim. I'd love to see a Stalker in person. Do you think you can make it down for the cruise? It's a long way from CT. -Mazda
 20. Oh man, that sounds like a blast! I can definitely do the drags and autox, but I'm not sure I'll be man enough to keep my foot to the floor on a wide open track smileys/smiley9.gif[/img].

Maybe a summer under my belt with the car will change my mind.

Thanks for the post.

 21. Bummer. It's not anything exciting, but rather amuzing to anyone who has tried to rip a car apart and restore it from the frame up.

 23. Well, sometimes things work out for the best. Somebody at a Supra forum told me that torque sensing diffs act like an open diff when one of the wheels has zero torque (like in the air)... so my conclusion that I have an open diff may have been wrong. It's too cold to drive anywhere to do a nice burnout, so i did a couple of short ones in the driveway, and each time got two nice patches smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

 24. Cool. I think I'm looking at the same thing... Does yours say TruTrac? It's basically the same thing as Quaife.
 25. Joe, is your LSD unit a traditional LSD with clutch packs, or a torque sensing setup like quaife or torsen?
