Joe, it already has the rover (or buick) 3.5 L engine. The speedo is programmable, so I guess any setup will do. I don't know what the rear end ratio is. Do you have part numbers and a supplier? I'll ask Dennis about the color of the gears. -Mazda

Dennis is working on getting a speedo for my car. After doing some searching and talking to people, it appears my tranny is one that was used in Rovers, TR7s (maybe TR8?) and MORGAN + 8. Anyway, what I need is the speedo drive on the tranny. Any thoughts or sources?

I think Corbeau makes seats that fit the 17" openning. Dennis has a set. My car was the first chassis, and the tunnel is slightly wider than the rest, leaving only 16", so I had to go with the seats I bought.

Hi, that's a very good question. Chris Custer who started Rotus numbered the first few cars in an odd way. Mine is the first chassis, but it was actually designated #002. The next car was designated #014, and i believe the car after that was #021. At some point they went to sequential numbers. Dennis Hedges of Short Mountain Enterprises in Falling Waters would have the best guesstimate. Are you looking to buy one?

Fired up the engine today! Sounds great. Still have a leak in the carburetor, which should be easy to fix.
