  1. The series enjoyed a re-run last year on BBC America (along with The Avengers). All very 60's. Emma Peel is still a total babe http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/coolgleamA.gif
  2. I have the 680MJ also - no problems so far http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif
  3. Thanks for that. Steve
  4. Slomove, what sizes do you have on your se7en (front and rear)? thanks, Steve.
  5. First frost warning tonight for Virginia. 60 tomorrow and sunny so a breakfast blat will be in order http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif Have to drive to Dullus after that - not quite so interesting.
  6. I think that's illegal, Rob.
  7. Baseball cap in the spring, summer and fall. If it gets really cold (below 40), I wear a rather fetching hat made by Northface, called the Windstopper - it's red and black and I'm know as the flying matchstick when I wear it http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrinjester.gif
  8. How did you get the Rover engine over here - not through Caterham I assume?
  9. The shockingly heavy bit in mine is usually me http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/thumbsup.gif
  10. Tom, go ahead and post the details, please.
  11. Mazda, I'll try a run further north - see if I can find a good breakfast place. I prefer old fashioned, but have a soft spot for Hardees sausage biscuits (which may be the reason for the soft spot in the first place http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif )
  12. Today, I went as far as Orange using a less than direct route to stay on the twisty stuff, but could go on up to Culpeper - how far is that for you?
  13. I know, I know - can't spell biscuits http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/rolleyes5.gif
  14. Just back from an 90 minutes on the curvy stuff with sausage buscuits and a cup of joe. Sun through the trees, a bunch of Harley's to wave to, and precious little other traffic. About as good as it gets http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif
  15. Was the ZX1 motor in the 98/99 Contour?
  16. Very useful to know as I'm about to attempt to put an Essingler cam in a 99 Contour derived Zetec... Nurse, the screens!
  17. I received an e-mail from Will Sours at Autocourse. He has a trailer (and some other stuff) for sale. The trailer is suitable for 'Formula ford, lotus or other small car' according to his mail. It looks small and light and has new ramps, wheels and tires. He's looking for $800 and can be contacted at Will@autocourseinc.com or at 949-500-1425 I have had no dealings with them so this is for information, not a recommendation. FYi he also has some ACB 10's, an engine hoist and some engine parts available.
  18. Mike, there's a zetec yahoo group that might have some of the info you seek (I came across it while searching for cam info). Google should get you there.
  19. Has anyone put Esslinger's high performance cams in their 2.0 Zetec? I'm trying to find out what is involved in actual installation (including any ECU adjustments), and any general in-use feedback - performance improvement, driveability etc. Thanks.
  20. No 6. That sounds about right. My old crossflow (145hp) would get low to mid 20's on a cruise, but drop to 14/15 when pushed. It's worth learning to tune the webers so you are getting the best from the engine (and each gallon), plus the looks you get from the neighbors - rubber tube running from carb to ear - can be quite amusing http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif
  21. A friend of mine has a Ferrari 250 SWB which he bought in Paris (for $5K!) in 1970. 26 years and counting. I still lust after it. Big time.
  22. Al, I had a Mondial for 3 months - don't do it. If I had the time, space, lottery money etc it would be a 'D' Type Jag or Ferrari 250 Short Wheelbase Berlinetta.
  23. Rob, It was made for me by a young English girl who stayed at our house for a while. She was very good at crafts and made this for my 50th in her father's shop (he's a boat builder). It's about 3" long mounted on a small piece of carbon fiber. Materials are brass, copper and tin.
  24. Do they both have the same kind of roll bar (standard, FIA etc), and are they both long cockpit models? Not sure the cockpit change affected the fitting, but worth checking.
  25. Catie, check with Caterham USA, or Nathan at Rocky Mountain Sportscars. I have the same year and model - the LSD is from the Sierra 4x4 I think, but the driveshafts I'm not sure about. Steve.
