My S2 (SB2182) chassis number is read from the drivers seat, starts with a B, and has a top bit on the one to identify it as a 1 vs. an l. No additional plate. Have you reached out to John Watson ? He will be able to tell you which chassis number is correct. My guess is 1091.

I recently purchased a late S2 Seven (sb2182) project car. It had been apart for decades and has a few pieces missing. Making arrangements to pick up a S2, which his completely apart. Looking at suspect chassis drawings online, it looks like I can fit the chassis in a 10 foot uhaul box trailer it I raise up one end . Anyone have any experience using a 10ft uhaul box truck to move a chassis? Alternatively, does anyone have a solid dimension for the overall length of the bare chassis? Thanks JB
