  1. It's like the bible, you only have to believe in the parts that fit your agenda :flag: .
  2. Weeeeee!!!!!! http://lonelyconservative.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/tin-foil-hat.jpg .
  3. AGAIN, that is not what I am saying. If YOU think pot should be banned, that is fine, but then you should also be advocating that alcohol be banned too as it does the same kind (worse actually) of damage to society that anti-pot advocates claim marijuana does. If YOU believe that pot is more dangerous/addictive/etc than alcohol and that is why it should be banned but not alcohol, that is based on ignorance. PERIOD As do I, that is why I don't smoke, drink, and even avoid prescription drugs when I can, but I am not "sanctimonious" about it .
  4. Like I said, the position is hypocritical and/or based on ignorance And at one time in our history, alcohol was also criminalized and deemed to have a high potential for abuse .
  5. Except that is not the argument. The point is if you are against the legalization of marijuana but are fine with alcohol being legal your position is hypocritical and/or based on ignorance Not true, many people ruin their lives abusing prescription drugs or hard drugs and have never used marijuana or alcohol. .
  6. Why not take tobacco and alcohol away then? Where was your outrage before? I haven't smoked in many years (and only drink an occasional beer), but I don't think making it legal is bad for society, in fact I think it is good for society as it can be taxed, and by decriminalizing it huge amounts of money will be saved by not wasting time pursuing, going to trial and incarcerating people for such a benign drug. Alcohol is a far greater menace to society ( people don't get stoned and beat up their families, or get into fist fights at bars, drive out of control at high rates of speed etc...) Additionally, marijuana has great medicinal benefits for people with cancer. Of course you can point to people who abuse it and perhaps ruin their lives, but the same can be said of alcohol, prescription drugs, glue, etc. so it is hypocritical to suggest that marijuana should illegal and not these others And I know people who still smoke and run successful businesses, in fact one guy I know is a millionaire. Just like alcohol, there is nothing wrong with using it in moderation .
  7. So how do you know to be outraged about the legalization of marijuana? .
  8. So I take it you are in favor of prohibition of alcohol too then? .
  9. Well for recreational use I don't think it is meant to improve anything other than ones mood http://www.websmileys.com/sm/sad/533.gif .
  10. Hyundai pays me a lot of money, so I guess hell ain't so bad .
  11. And I smoked a lot of weed in high school and I turned out.... I am hungry The same could be said of alcohol, actually alcohol is far worse .
  12. So where is your outrage towards alcohol? .

  17. Well clearly he is good at promotion and that is how he has successful clothing and film location businesses, but he was approached by the filmmakers to make this after they saw a thread he had made about his "obsession" on the Pelican Parts forum not the other way around. As I understand it, he builds the cars for himself not necessarily to sell and the films intend was actually more of a promotion piece for the filmmakers than for Magnus

  19. Actually it appears I am not completely correct about that, I thought it was all states. http://lifehacker.com/5902802/ever-wonder-if-its-actually-legal-to-wear-headphones-when-youre-driving
  20. I had originally purchased a similar system from Motocomm here in the US, it is a pretty decent intercom system and inexpensive. The problem with them and the Starcom (?- it appears from the pictures) is that they have multi-pin connectors which break easily. I had used my intercom 5 times and broke the connectors 3 times. The company was good about sending me new ones but I gave up and bought a Terraphone rally intercom which is a lot more robust using a 1/4 RCA jack. In hindsight I should have just spent the extra money and bought the Peltor system which is the what all the WRC teams use, it is a lot nicer set up. I use mine with helmets since I run an aeroscreen but to note the headsets are illegal to be driving with (at least in the US)
