  1. https://shop.quaife.co.uk/caterham-60g-6-speed-sequential-double-overdrive-gearbox Straight Cut gears, and should bolt up in place of 6 speed. Quaife G60 like all sequentials requires frequent service and hates being granny shifted. Only way to keep it going is money shifting it, or you will break it by too slow shifts. All info is online, if you search.
  2. Driving fast on backroad in RHD car is challenging: risking to pass slower traffic outweighs the cost benefit in my view. I've driven RHD cars in RHD countries, including Japan, and RHD cars in USA: I found it ok in city and general utility use, but on backroad such as what we have in California it becomes an impossible task to pass anybody safely. And that stops al the fun.
  3. I have virtually identical car to you, dyno's at 198rwhp, also Zetec with full motorsport equipment on Pectel and TWM ITBs. Given that it was ~$84K to build, I think your price is absolutely inline. They are still the same price, or more. The 620R uses the same chassis, so nothing to be gained buying more recent. Best of luck. The only thing that may convince me to sell mine is 620R, although frankly, I don't see a need for more power than 200rwhp.
  4. Redline rules, excellent resource, knowledgeable and will arrive within ~3-4 days from ship-date to your door. Best prices in my experience.
  5. Yeah.... Thanks Ian Looking forward to see it in the metal.
  6. I purchased a complete Left Shaft to get the Right outer CV joint...problem solved. But there are none until now, now there are still no right ones.
  7. We found a source: Automotive Unlimited in UK, Duncan is the proprietor Specialized in Escort and Sierra Cosowrths The CV Joints are from the Front Wheel Drive off the All Wheel Drive Cosworths. That is only Sierra Cosworth and Escort Cosworth 4x4 feature them on the front. The one I needed is the front outer. Normally the always feature an ABS ring, just get it off- its pressed on. Duncan can source the Joints reasonably cheaply, and use http://www.parcel2go.com, Parcel Force, or similar parcel service for economical shipping.
  8. Martin, thanks I did go locally, the only driveshaft places left are doing "driveshafts" with Yokes, but no CV joints. Here is the San Francisco Bay Area. I'll give them a call If I only had a part# for a Tripod CV joint, application specific info, I could get one on-line or from UK overnight.
  9. I am looking for complete replacement outer CV Joint The other part (more than half) of the CV joint is in the car still. So its now shown.
  10. I understand fully, it's easier to visualize when a photo is available. Photos attached
  11. Does TriPod mean that the "Half Shaft Side" of the CV Joint, the inner stub has 3 rollers on 3 rays extending out? Mine does have that: starting from the differential along the shaft, first the CV boot is still attached, than a CV joint inner shaft with tri-pod like shape with three rollers, one on each of the tripod arms. The big body of the CV joint, the outer races, with stub-axle is still attached bolted to the Hub. Maybe you can point me to the correct Ford Sierra equivalent or maybe you have one available? Thank you Ivica
  12. I am not sure? The car is 2006, what is "normal" for DeDion axle Caterham that year? Thanks Ivica
  13. Everything is for the S3 Superlight DeDion chassis rear: I need one rear brake rotor/disc, and I need at least 1 outer CV joint, or used/new driveshaft, right side. Any opportunity considered. I am located in San Francisco Bay Area. Shoot me an email at alpinaturbo@yahoo.com, if you can help. Thanks
